Inventor is a software used for 3D design, simulation, and visualization. However due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we are learning through virtual school. Our laptops cannot support Inventor so we had to adapt. We are now using a Software called TinkerCad. TinkerCad also lets you create 3D models which then can be 3D printed. TinkerCad is a great alternative to Inventor because it is very easy to use.

How to make Widget #2
The first step of making the widget is to place down a cube in the workspace. This cube should be 1 inch length, width and height.
For the next step you want to take out a rectangle piece of the cube about .75 inches in length and .5 inches in height. However, you want to leave an overhang of about .3 inches as shown in the pictures.
For the final step, you want to place down a wedge shape. You will want to make the dimension of the wedge .2 inches in length, .1 inches in width, and .5 inches in height. You will then want to place this wedge in the middle of the cut out part the cube, connecting the top and the bottom.
